Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 used to be the flagship phone of the French OEM. It was released in June 2015 in two variants with 4-7 and 5.5-inch screen sizes. The trend of launching different models of the same smartphones based on display size was started by Samsung with its Galaxy S3 and S3 small and was later adopted by other manufacturers.
The smaller variant the OneTouch Idol 3 features a 4.7″ display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, microSD support, 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera, and 2000 mAh battery.
On the other hand, the bigger Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 provides some outstanding specs such as a 5.5-inch full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16/32 GB storage and microSD support, 13 MP primary and 8 MP secondary camera, and 2910 mAh battery.
